Roo Card

The UMKC Roo Card is the official campus identification card. The Roo Card office provides campus IDs to faculty, staff and special programs on campus.

Atterbury Student Success Center

The Atterbury Student Success Center (ASSC) is currently undergoing renovations and will soon be home to Admissions, Advising, the Center for Transfer Students and Adult Learners, Roo Advising, Career Services, Professional Career Escalators, University College, and International Student Affairs. 

Temporary office locations:

  • Academic Support and Mentoring, PAL, MoCA, Undergraduate Research, Career Services/PCE, University College and School of Graduate Studies are located in  Miller Nichols Library.
  • International Student Affairs is located in the School of Education building.
  • The Admissions Office is located in the Administrative Center, Room 120
  • Scheduled campus visits meet at the UMKC Student Union.

Summer Housing Options

Looking for quality lodging in an academic setting? Overnight accommodations are available for individual students and groups, whether you have an internship in the area, are attending a conference, running a summer camp, or just need a place to stay between semesters. Housing options are available from May 22, 2026, to Aug. 1, 2026.
