The Department of Computer Science Electrical
Engineering also participates in the
Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program of the University of
Missouri-Kansas City. This program is administered through the
School of Graduate Studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas
City and requires a student to select both a coordinating discipline
and a co-discipline. Many doctoral students
choose both coordinating and co-disciplines in our department or the
School of Computing and Engineering, but other disciplines can be taken
as well. Three such disciplines are housed in our department:
