Jake Loeffler, M.A.
Jake Loeffler is
completing his Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of
Psychology in La Mirada, CA. His professional memberships include the
American Psychological Association, the Psychology of Religion and
Spirituality Division, the Exercise and Sport Psychology
Division, and the Association for
Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology (AASP).
His professional interests include outreach,
wellness, multiculturalism, men's issues, grief and loss, and sports
psychology. He has worked in college and community mental health
settings with traditional and non-traditional age college students from
diverse backgrounds. He received generalist training and works with a
wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety/stress, mood
disorders, trauma, academic skills development, grief, identity
development, family and relationship issues, and spirituality. He works
from an integrated holistic framework that incorporates ACT,
psychodynamic, EFT, CBT and insight-oriented theories that value
individual differences and diversity with the goal of helping students
get a better understanding of themselves and how they can make the
changes that they desire. His personal enjoyment and wellness are
promoted through traveling, playing and watching sports, exploring
nature, woodworking, and staying connected to friends and family.
