A Benefit for the UMKC Conservatory

Crescendo is one of Kansas City's premier arts events, hosted by the UMKC Conservatory at the world-class Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The event has raised millions of dollars for student scholarships with support from generous donors and under the guidance of the Friends of the Conservatory.

As in years past, it is our hope to come together in Helzberg Hall for the performance by the Conservatory’s exceptional faculty and students. However, in consideration of the health and safety of our guests, we are planning to modify the Crescendo 2020 gala to a new and exciting format. We are planning for the best and hope to have a live stage performance. As an alternative, a virtual event will be held. Either way, you will have the opportunity to experience the magnificent talent of the Conservatory students.

It is more important than ever that we unite in raising scholarship funds to assist our students.

“Classical music, I find, is our true golden treasure that needs to be carried on to the next generation. By donating this scholarship, you nurture us who will be carrying out this task.” – Dominik, M.M., keyboard studies

Help us continue to support Dominik and the hundreds of UMKC Conservatory students like him – they are the future of the arts in Kansas City and beyond.
