Authorized Users List

The hazardous materials supervisor is responsible for publishing and maintaining the authorized users list.  This list includes all qualified and trained hazardous materials workers authorized to handle hazardous materials and is used to confirm or update laboratories registered to permits. When a user is placed on the authorized users list, the hazardous materials supervisor assigns trainings to that individual.

Effective July 1, all additions and removals of authorized users will be done through OnSite Systems.

Principal Investigators and designated delegates will have the ability to initiate the addition or removal of authorized users directly through EHSA.

• Adding new users to the authorized users list (DOC)
• Removing users from the authorized users list (DOC)

Authorized Users List Requirements

• Post the list in a prominent location in the laboratory
• Update the list at the beginning of each semester or immediately when there are changes in personnel
