Nonresident Rate Estimates

2025-2026 Academic Year

These tables illustrate the estimated cost of attendance for nonresident students. However, eligible nonresidents may qualify tuition discounts through a nonresident scholarship, such as the Roo Nation Scholarship. We also offer tuition discounts for military service members, their spouses and dependents. How we determine residency status.

Each table includes cost information for one of our academic program rates, listed in alphabetical order by school, and breaks out estimates for direct and indirect costs so you can easily compare what it may cost to live with a parent or guardian, off campus or on campus while pursuing your degree at UMKC.

Tuition and fee costs are based on enrollment in 28 credit hours for the Academic Year (Fall and Spring), except for dental hygiene, which is based on 34 credit hours.
