Construction Update
The front entrance with parking at the UMKC Administrative Center is closed for construction. Please use the entrances on the east, south and north ends of building. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will remain open for calls and email. UMKC Central will be relocating to its new office in Atterbury Student Success Center from July 27 to August 14. Walk-in services may be limited or not available during that time.

Grants
Grants from the federal and state governments, as well as UMKC, are available to help you finance your education. Most grants are available only to undergraduate students working on their first bachelor’s degree. Explore our filterable list of grants and scholarships.
Work-Study
The Federal Work-Study program provides funding for part-time, on- and off-campus jobs for eligible undergraduate and graduate students.
Loans
Student loans are borrowed money that must be repaid with interest. Sources of loans include the federal government, state governments and UMKC. Additionally, credit-based loans are offered through a variety of banks and other lenders.
