Construction Update
The front entrance with parking at the UMKC Administrative Center is closed for construction. Please use the entrances on the east, south and north ends of building. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will remain open for calls and email. UMKC Central will be relocating to its new office in Atterbury Student Success Center from July 27 to August 14. Walk-in services may be limited or not available during that time.
Access Missouri Financial Assistance Program
Award Overview
Access Missouri is a need-based program for Missouri residents with an expected family contribution from the FAFSA of 12,000 or less. Students should try to complete the FAFSA by the Priority deadline for the state, Feb. 1.
- Award amount
- The maximum award amount for students attending a public two-year university is $1,700.
- The maximum award amount for students attending a public four-year university, technical college, private college or approved virtual school is $3,500.
