Construction Update

The front entrance with parking at the UMKC Administrative Center is closed for construction. Please use the entrances on the east, south and north ends of building. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will remain open for calls and email. UMKC Central will be relocating to its new office in Atterbury Student Success Center from July 27 to August 14. Walk-in services may be limited or not available during that time.

Pat Tillman Scholarship

Award Overview

The Pat Tillman Scholarship supports military service members, veterans and military spouses who demonstrate exceptional leadership, academic ambition and a commitment to serving others. Beyond financial assistance for education, Tillman Scholars gain access to leadership development opportunities, career support, mentorship and a nationwide network of changemakers dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities and professions.

  • Eligibility
    • Veteran or active-duty military service member
    • Honorably discharged of pre- and/or post-9/11 service (from any branch of the U.S. military, including National Guard and reserves)
    • Current spouse of veteran or active-duty service member, including surviving spouse
    • Enrolled full-time in a degree program
