Tuition and Costs

Tuition for HSCP Dual Credit courses is $75 per credit hour for 2026-2027.

Tuition rates are set by the University of Missouri Board of Curators in July each year and are subject to change.

Tuition Assistance Scholarship

HSCP's Tuition Assistance Scholarship is available to qualifying students. Through our partnerships, we provide a small number of students with tuition assistance based on financial need.

Completing the application does not guarantee an award. Students will be notified upon approval.

Dual Credit Scholarship (MDHEWD)

The Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development offers scholarships for dual credit or dual enrollment courses taken at most Missouri public and private colleges and universities.

Students are notified in November/December or April/May by MDHEWD regarding scholarship funds. Do not contact UMKC Cashiers or UMKC for MDHEWD scholarship status.

Payment Options

Students must pay all accounts in full before enrolling in subsequent semesters. Transcripts will not be issued and enrollments will not be confirmed if any financial obligations are outstanding. Prepay the full amount online or by check. You will need your Dual High School Application number, which is emailed to you after submitting your application.

Payment Due Dates

Full tuition payment is due by Final Payment date. Failure to pay tuition will result in the course(s) being administratively dropped and will not be added at a later date.

Fall and Yearlong 2026-27

  • October 1: First Payment Due
  • November 1: Final Payment Due
  • December 1: No Payment Drops

Spring 2027

  • March 1: First Payment Due
  • April 1: Final Payment Due
  • May 1: No Payment Drops

Complete a myHSCP application to receive your UMKC ID and SSO, then use those credentials to enroll in courses.

Dropping and Adding Courses

To add or drop a course, submit a request through myHSCP. Have your UMKC course name, high school instructor's name and UMKC Student ID ready.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a UMKC ID and SSO?

Complete a Dual Credit application as a new student (one time only) in myHSCP. Once processed, your Student ID and SSO login (@umsystem.edu) will be emailed to you.

Where do I find my SSO and login information?

Your SSO and login information is emailed after submitting your application. Look for the subject line "UMKC myHSCP - SSO Assigned." Save this email for future use.

How do I reset my password?

Visit the UMKC Password Resources page for assistance.

How can I confirm my enrollment?

Log in to myHSCP and verify your status shows "Registered." You can also confirm enrollment through your Pathway account. In Pathway, select Student Center, then My Schedule and Academics to view your courses.

How do I find my Student ID, course numbers and credit hours?

Log in to myHSCP. Your Student ID displays in the top right corner and under My Profile. Course enrollments and credit hours appear under Choose Course(s).
