Description:

Are you READY?  This intense one week basic boot camp will provide you with the fundamentals for teaching online at UMKC.   You will receive hands-on training from seasoned online instructors, become certified to teach online at UMKC and begin the process of moving your course online.  You will receive time saving tips and tricks, learn about best practices in online instruction, and gain valuable insight into avoiding the common mistakes of beginning online instructors. You will be paired with a boot camp partner and a faculty mentor will help guide you. This boot camp open to any UMKC faculty member or instructor.  Individuals with little or no experience with online teaching will benefit the most from this boot camp. However, those online instructors wishing to become certified and who want to become more familiar with the technologies and best practices for teaching online are encouraged to attend.
