The School of Dentistry Staff Council, together with Dean Paul Luepke, hosted the annual Holiday Luncheon for staff, faculty, and retirees on Friday, December 19. This year’s celebration brought the sparkle with a fun disco theme, inviting guests to don their most fashionable retro looks.
Attendees enjoyed a traditional holiday lunch alongside lively party games, plenty of door prizes, and a raffle featuring highly sought-after gift baskets generously donated by departments. Awards recognizing years of service and dedication to the School were also presented, honoring the commitment and contributions of valued faculty and staff. A highlight of the afternoon was the contest for the best disco-themed outfit, showcasing creativity and flair across the room.
In the spirit of giving, non-perishable food items were collected for Kangaroo Pantry, supporting food assistance efforts for those in need within the UMKC community.
