The School of Humanities and Social Sciences and SSE’s Innovation Studio are collaborating to bring Luis Quintanilla's murals entitled Don Quixote in the Modern World into the world of virtual reality.

This year-long project seeks to conduct research and the development of novel AI workflows capable of generating 3D models of objects from 2D images. The 3D models will then be integrated into a multimedia immersive experience telling the stories of both Luis Quintanilla's life and that of his work.

The immersive experience will be compatible with mobile phones and tablets, personal computers, and virtual reality headsets.
