A warm welcome to the School of Dentistry!

On Tuesday, the Roy J. Rinehart Memorial Foundation hosted a Lunch & Learn for the DDS Class of 2030 and DH Class of 2028.

The Rinehart Foundation supports the UMKC School of Dentistry through various opportunities and initiatives including scholarships, professorships, and research.

Students met Rinehart Foundation Board Member Dr. Jill Jenkins (DDS ’00, PEDO ’05) and heard remarks from Doug Anderson, Sr. Director of Development and Executive Director of the Rinehart Foundation.

Treated to Jack Stack BBQ by the foundation’s board of directors, students enjoyed lunch while learning more about the foundation’s history and mission.

To commemorate the occasion, each student also received a fleece quarter-zip jacket embroidered with the UMKC Rinehart Foundation logo. Many students put their jackets on immediately, showing pride in the School of Dentistry community.
