On Tuesday, September 1, the UMKC Dental Alumni Association welcomed our newest students with a night out at a Royals home game! Bringing students, faculty, staff, and alumni together at Kauffman Stadium has become an annual tradition, allowing everyone a chance to visit – or revisit – the “K.”

The evening started with a lively pregame tailgate in the parking lot. Attendees socialized over dinner, played cornhole, and posed for group photos to mark the occasion. Dean Luepke snapped a few selfies with the new students, and it was time to head into the game!

The Royals faced off against the Marlins for a tough matchup. Even though they fell short of a win, it was a fantastic evening with a great turnout from our School of Dentistry community.
