Technical Support Resources for Faculty

UMKC has many technical resources available to faculty, whether you are in the classroom or the office.

Account

General Technical Support
- The IS Technology Support Center is the first point of contact for technical support for many faculty and staff and all students.
- Many Schools and offices have departmental IT Liaisons who act as a first point of contact for technical support. Refer to our IT Liaisons Contact List to find your first point of contact.
Online Learning Support
- UMKC Instructional Design and Technology (ID/T) offers support for a wide range of classroom technologies, including:
  - Canvas Support
  - Panopto Lecutre-Capture
- In addition to these online resources, ITS can provide workshops and one-on-one training related to these and other classroom technologies.
Classroom Technology Support
- Classroom Technology Services maintains and supports classrooms outfitted with technology, called Ideal Learning Environments (ILE). One-on-one training for ILE classrooms is available by request.
Online Training Resources
- MyLearn is made available from Human Resources and offers thousands of online courses and books to support your learning and development.
