UMKCWPA Info

SafeConnect

In order to provide a more stable and secure network, UMKC utilizes SafeConnect, a small tool that helps to ensure your computer is up to date and is free of malicious software. This tool must be installed before full network access can be attained in any UMKC residence hall. Instructions for installing the SafeConnect client can be found on either the SafeConnect or residence hall page.

Games and Media

In order to help support a wide array of devices, the UMKC-Media network was created for the purpose of connecting media and gaming devices that do not support modern security methods.

Instructions for configuring your media devices for UMKC-Media can be found at the UMKC-Media enrollment page.
