Operating System Upgrades for Windows 10 and macOS
To keep your computer secure and compatible with the latest software, periodic upgrades to the operating system need to be applied. Additionally, these upgrades often include new features that improve the overall experience and productivity.
Information Services will release operating system upgrades annually through the Software Center on Windows and Self-Service on macOS. This allows faculty and staff to complete the upgrade at a time convenient for them before the upgrade deadline runs it automatically.
These upgrades can be performed on or off-campus and typically take 1 to 2 hours to complete.
