Conservatory of Music and Dance

  • Since its 1906 founding, the Conservatory has enormously influenced Kansas City's cultural scene. UMKC Conservatory faculty, alumni and students have founded the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Kansas City Chorale, Kansas City Ballet, Summerfest and the Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Company.
