Missouri Institute for Defense & Energy Employment Opportunities

The Missouri Institute for Defense & Energy (MIDE) is founded on bridging fundamental physics with applied engineering to solve longstanding challenges in the defense, energy and related commercial sectors. As of January 2022, MIDE retains 27 graduate students, 18 undergraduate students, 30 professional staff, and 15 faculty. MIDE has executed on projects from DARPA, DTRA, Intel, the NSF, ACS, AFRL and ONR, from beta-voltaics to neutron detection to neutron spectrometry to directed- and counter-directed energy weapons development.
