Eligibility Requirements

The MoCA program welcomes incoming students from all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, ability or program of study.

Incoming Freshmen/Transfer

Must be:

• An incoming UMKC student.
• Admitted to UMKC.
• Academically be a first-time college student with a 2.5 high school core GPA, or a transfer student with 24 or more completed hours of college-level work with 2.5 overall GPA.
• Lawfully present in the United States, or present in the United States under a deferred removal program (authorized to live and work in the United States or DACA eligible.)

Application Timeline

• The application is open annually Sept. 1 - April 17.
• Students can apply for MoCA membership as part of the UMKC application process.
