Career U

PCE-Career U is a high school engagement program that offers numerous events for local high school students to participate in that exposes them to the Professional Career Escalators and UMKC Volker Campus. PCE-Career U offers an annual Career Summit in the spring, a Career Camp in the summer, and partners with local high schools and community-based organizations to bring students to campus to participate in career and college exploration.

Participation in PCE-Career U is taken into consideration when a student applies to the Professional Career Escalators collegiate program.

Participants will have the opportunity to stay overnight in the residence halls and participate in future-focused programming over the three days, which includes attending a Majors and Minors Fair, sitting in on a college class, and learning about UMKC student services and resources.
