Centers and Institutes

Centers and institutes enable faculty and students to work with civic, corporate and philanthropic communities, as well as other institutions, on projects related to UMKC's academic strengths and interests.

Centers and institutes provide a multidisciplinary approach to research, education, training and public service. They allow students and faculty to explore projects central to UMKC's mission and academic purpose while serving and engaging members of the greater community. Centers and institutes report to the Provost's Office and are evaluated every five years.
