UMKC's policy library contains the full text of official policies approved by the University as a resource for faculty, staff, and students. The policy library is not comprehensive; it does not include links to unit-level policies and procedures. The UMKC Policy Committee and leadership may review and update policies at any time. When that happens, the committee note last update on the policy.
The policy library uses Box, which offers secure, content-rich, and user-friendly content sharing. Box allows content to be stored online, so it can be accessed, managed, and shared from anywhere. You may click the blue buttons to access Box folders and search for policies or select the policy name to open the policy directly in Box.
A University policy:
Academic policies at UMKC, as overseen by the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, are in the following general areas: curriculum management, program review and assessment, and registration and records policies.

The latest updates regarding how COVID-19 is affecting campus are available on the UMKC response website. That website contains the same policy documents as does the Policy Library. Having a link in the Policy Library is for cross-referencing purposes.
