Course Description: Software methods and tools are widely used in practice to support software production. They exist throughout the software project lifecycle, ranging from early stage of planning to software maintenance. In this course, we will cover a number of such methods and tools. These methods include UML, structured design, design patterns, code generation, testing, and version control. The tools we are also going to learn are Microsoft Project, IBM Rational Systems Developer, Eclipse Plug-ins, Emacs, JUnit, Subversion, and GIT.
