Office of Student Conduct and Civility

Our mission is to help students understand the significance of adherence to the standard of conduct and the importance of civil interactions and dialogues at the UMKC.

The Office of Student Conduct and Civility strives to foster learning and development for all students through educational conversations and sanctions to promote personal accountability and the guiding principle of integrity. We strive to encourage all students to recognize the impact of their actions and decisions on themselves, the campus community and the greater community in which they are apart. Our goal is to help and encourage students to be successful in all facets of their lives.

Students at UMKC are expected to abide by all University of Missouri System rules and regulations and to uphold the University of Missouri Student Standard of Conduct, which outlines behaviors and actions for which students, if found responsible, can be issued sanctions ranging from a warning to suspension and expulsion.
