Travel Advisories

The safety and security of UMKC faculty, staff, and students is a priority to the university. While most people travel internationally without any incidents, there are destinations that pose particular challenges. As a benchmark, the university carefully considers federal travel advisories, as well as other credible sources. 

We urge all travelers to carefully research the health, safety and security situation in their intended travel destinations.

If traveling to a country or region under a travel advisory Level 3 or Level 4 from the U.S. Department of State or Centers for Disease Control, you must submit a UMKC High-Risk Travel form (PDF).
