We are excited about your interest in our university. At UMKC, we value your previous college experience and strive to make your transition to our campus as easy as possible. These transfer guides contain information to help you plan your classes now to make for a seamless transfer to UMKC later. Select your school to get started.

NOTE: Transfer Guides are not yet available for all majors at all area 2-year institutions. If you do not see your desired major, please contact your Enrollment Advisor using the contact details at the bottom of this page for assistance.

Financial Aid is Available

More than 85 percent of UMKC's transfer students recieve financial aid through scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study jobs. For more information, visit the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.

Dual Admission Program - Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City

Eligible MCC students who participate in the dual admission program will recieve a $20 discount on their UMKC application fee! Click here to sign up.

 

Reverse Transfer - Get the Degree You've Earned!

Transfering to UMKC from a Missouri 2-year college? Did you complete at least 15 credit hours before transfering?
