A college education is one of the most important investments you can make, and affordability is a top priority at UMKC. The university's tuition rates and generous scholarship program led to UMKC being recognized as a Princeton Review Best Value College in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Each year, UMKC awards more than $200 million in financial aid.
Freshman and transfer students can qualify for automatic scholarships and competitive academic and regional scholarships (highlighted on map below).
