UMKC's Oak Place Apartments opening Fall 2008!
Some of you remember living in Twin Oaks, UMKC's former apartment complex on Oak Street just north of Pizza 51.
All of you no doubt have seen the construction of the new apartments that is taking place on the site where Twin Oaks used to stand.
    The Oak Place Apartments will be open for Fall 2008 and will feature furnished 1, 2, and 4 bedroom apartments.
    Some of the amazing amenities available at the apartments.

  • Private Bedrooms including a Private Bathroom
  • keyed entry for the individual bedroom
  • full-sized bed with extra storage beneath the bed
  • 4 drawer dresser and large closet
  • Computer desk with shelves with two-position study chair
  • 9-foot ceilings with ceiling fan
  • wall-to-wall carpeting
  • wired for private phone, cable and internet

  • Luxury Kitchen including a dining counter with barstools, dishwasher, frost-free refrigerator, stove with range, garbage disposal, pantry and washer and dryer

  • Furnished living room with a micro-suede sectional sofa, coffee table, entertainment center, 9-foot ceilings with ceiling fan and wall-to-wall carpet

  • Community Features including a 24-hour fitness center, computer lab, game room with Foosball and Pool Table, picnic table, grilling area and parking garage

      RENT rates (private bedroom with private bathroom; common area; 12 month lease):
    • 1 bedroom apartment = $844 per month
    • 2 bedroom apartment = $720 per month
    • 4 bedroom apartment = $653 per month
      The rent includes water and sewer, electricity, expanded cable w/HBO and high-speed internet!

    Private Parking in the Apartment's Garage: $53 per month extra.
You will be able to see a model apartment beginning in December 2007.
You will be able to reserve your apartment soon after that.
    Convenient to Campus!
      UMKC Campus Police providing security!
