There are several ways to explore campus, both in person and online.

Construction Update

The front entrance with parking at the UMKC Administrative Center is closed for construction. Please use the entrances on the east, south and north ends of building. The Office of Admissions and UMKC Central will be relocating to their new offices in Atterbury Student Success Center from July 27 to August 14. Walk-in services may be limited or not available during that time.

Campus Visit

The Roo Visit starts with an overview of UMKC, followed by an opportunity for you to ask questions. Choose in-person or Zoom options in English or Spanish.

Campus Tours

Depending on where you are in your college search, you're welcome to join one of our campus ambassador-led tours.

Campus Tour

All prospective students may join a walking campus tour led by one of our student campus ambassadors. Each tour takes approximately 60 minutes.

Discover UMKC

For those just beginning their college search, get an in-depth look at campus, learn more about our academic programs and meet current UMKC students during Discover UMKC. We schedule these on Saturdays.

Group Tour

Bring your entire class to explore campus and get an overview of UMKC during a group tour. Classes from elementary school through community college are welcome.

Future Roo Day

Join us for a one-day event to meet your professors, learn about life on campus and explore UMKC resources. Spots are reserved for admitted undergraduate students and their families in all academic programs except the School of Medicine and audition-based Conservatory programs.
