We are proud to lead UMKC Commencement each spring and fall as well as other significant events throughout the year on campus and at Kansas City's most recognizable venues.
We regularly feature notable speakers, from award-winning actors and authors to world-renowned dignitaries, to foster the UMKC key values of accountability, learning, diversity, respect, collaboration and integrity.
The Starr Women's Hall of Fame is dedicated to recognizing extraordinary Kansas City women and preserving the history of their accomplishments.
The UMKC Pride Breakfast has raised funds to support LGBTQIA students at UMKC and served as a way to show our university's support of, and commitment to, LGBTQIA students on campus.

For more than 50 years, the UMKC Women’s Council Graduate Assistance Fund (GAF) has provided financial support for women enrolled in UMKC graduate programs.
