International Travel Requirements
International travel creates legal, regulatory and research security risks, especially when traveling with university devices, data, conducting work or engaging in research activities abroad.
As of July 31, 2026, the University of Missouri-Kansas City and University of Missouri System requires employees and other covered individuals to obtain advance authorization for all international travel related to university business.
