The Kansas City Area Assessment Project (KCAAP) is a collection of assessments lessons, and on-line resources organized along a framework by content area and grade range. The Kansas City Regional Professional Development Center (KCRPDC) at the University of Missouri developed the project. Center, Independence, Kansas City, Missouri, and Lee’s Summit school districts were the primary contributors. However, teachers from throughout the region participated. The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education generously provided funding for KCAAP. The KCAAP is intended and designed for continuous improvement. Additions to this assessment bank and comments about the usefulness of KCAAP are welcomed.
