Enrollment Confirmation Deadline Extended
The UMKC priority confirmation deadline for Fall 2024 has been extended to May 15 to allow for FAFSA processing.
Who Qualifies?
City Year AmeriCorps members and alumni who have completed at least one year of service and staff members who have been employed by City Year for at least two years who have been admitted to a degree program at UMKC will be considered for a scholarship.

Students who are accepted to UMKC but decide to serve additional time with City Year before starting their studies are eligible for a one-year deferral.
How to Apply
Email City Year for a service verification letter with "University of Missouri-Kansas City: City Year verification letter request” in the subject line. In the email message, include the location of the site where you served and the month and year you graduated from AmeriCorps. City Year will provide a confirmation that you will upload to the scholarship application. Apply!
