The Fire Safety Division provides:

• Routine inspections on fixed and portable fire suppression systems.
• Regular fire prevention inspections of all UMKC buildings to ensure any fire hazards are identified and corrected.
• Response to fire alarms as well as any fire-related complaints.
• Basic fire suppression training, which may be scheduled by contacting the Fire and Life Safety Specialist.
