UMKC Parent and Family Programs connects parents and family members of current students to our university community with the goal of supporting your student’s personal and academic journey toward graduation. Each Fall Semester, we open our doors to parents, family members and support systems of UMKC students and invite everyone to attend in-person and virtual events around campus and throughout Kansas City.

Family Weekend celebrates your involvement in our UMKC community, welcoming you into our Roo family, while also connecting you to resources to support you and your student.

Family Weekend 2022 took place Sept. 30-Oct. 2. Family Weekend 2023 will take place Sept. 22-24, 2023.
