Leadership

Alberto Villamandos, Ph.D. Associate Professor of Spanish, University of Missouri – Kansas City. Expert on 20th century intellectual history and the transition to democracy after the Franco regime.

Iñaki Garate Llombart, Ph.D. Conservator-restorer, expert in the conservation and restauration of frescoes. He led the 2007 team that restored Luis Quintanilla’s Love Peace; Hate War frescoes.

Viviana Grieco, Ph.D. Professor of History and Latin American and Latinx Studies, University of Missouri – Kansas City. Expert in Latin American history and politically inspired art.

Esther Lopez Sobrado, Ph. D. Professor of Art History at the IES Merindades in Castile, Spain, expert in Luis Quintanilla’s art.

Chris Wolff, UMKC’s Historian, author of A Pearl of Great Value: The History of UMKC, Kansas City’s University.
