Women's Center

The mission of the Women’s Center is to advocate, educate and provide support services for the advancement of gender equity on campus and within the community at large. Founded in 1971, It is one of the oldest campus-based Women’s Centers in the United States.

The Women’s Center offers inclusive space where students can gather, learn and get involved in women’s and gender activism. The center offers study space, a conference room, an extensive resource library, a lactation and self-care room, a kitchen and resource referrals. Programs address intersectionality, body image, leadership development, the gender wage gap, gender violence prevention, women in the arts and so much more.

The Women’s Center also offers work-study positions, internships and graduate assistantships for students looking for direct, hands-on experience in program development, higher education administration and gender equity advocacy. Stop by or contact the Women’s Center to learn more.
