I am a Kansas City native, growing up on both sides of the state line. I joined the Marine Corps after graduating high school and did a total of 2 OIF deployments. While transitioning out of the Marine Corps I attended Johnson County Community College, later transferring to The University of Kansas, all while using the my VA Education Benefits.
After graduating with my Bachelor's I have made stops at JCCC (SCO), KU Medical Center (SCO), Appalachian State University (Director), KCKCC (SCO), and now UMKC (Director), all while helping student veterans transition from military service to pursuing their higher educational goals. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Higher Education - Leadership.
In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, watch/play any sport imaginable, play Apex, collect sports cards, and eat all of the delicious Kansas City food I can find.
