Transcripts

We prefer that you request to have your transcripts sent by secure email or electronic transfer through your school. If mailed, they must be received in a sealed envelope at this address:

UMKC Office of Admissions
Atterbury Student Success Center
5000 Holmes St., Ste. 101
Kansas City, MO 64110

Undergraduate students

First-time college students and students transferring 23 or fewer college credit to UMKC must submit official high school transcripts. Students enrolling in classes for the Fall Semester must submit documentation by July 1.

Admission decisions are not final until official transcripts and test scores, if required, are received by the Office of Admissions. UMKC may take back offers of admission if final transcripts and test scores do not confirm information from the application. Scholarship offers are made after we receive official transcripts and test scores.

Transfer students

Students transferring 24 or more college credits and graduate and professional students submit transcripts only for their college coursework.

Graduate students

You must request final, official transcripts from the schools where you earned a bachelor's degree in time to arrive at the UMKC Office of Admissions by the application deadline for your program. If you attended more than one institution, you must request an official transcript from each school unless the transcript of the degree-granting institution includes the complete record of undergraduate work.

In addition, please request an official transcript from each school where you took coursework or obtained a degree beyond the bachelor's degree.
