Attention New Students!
First-Time College Freshman
Make sure you start off on the right foot. First-time college freshmen are required to attend orientation prior to scheduling an appointment with their academic advisor.
Transfer Students
After you've confirmed your admission, please schedule a one-hour new student academic advising appointment through your UMKC Connect account, by calling our front desk 816-235-1148, or emailing us. Please have your official transcripts sent to UMKC in advance as this helps us build a schedule that recognizes your work and accomplishments thus far.
