First time college freshmen must attend orientation prior to scheduling an appointment with their academic advisor.
Transfer students: After you have confirmed your admission please schedule a 1-hour new student academic advising appointment through your UMKC Connect account, by calling our front desk (816) 235-1148, or emailing us rooadvising@umkc.edu. To make the most of your appointment, please have any official transcripts sent to UMKC in advance-this helps us build a schedule that fully recognizes the work you’ve already accomplished and keeps you moving toward your goals.
