PUB-ADM 5506      Management in Context
This course introduces students to the context of management in business, public, and nonprofit organizations with a specific emphasis on the political, regulatory, social, natural and global environment of management. Students who successfully complete this course gain an understanding of organizations and management that can be utilized in day-to-day work environments, apply theories and concepts to identify organizational issues, problems, and/or ethical considerations, and strengthen their ability to integrate and understand course content in a graduate program within the Bloch School of Management. Working individually and in groups, students will be asked to ex[lain in written and oral formats, and in general and specific terms, what an organization is, how it works, and how it relates to them, to other organizations, and the environment.
