Financial Aid and Scholarships

UMKC offers financial aid and scholarships specifically for transfer students that can help ease the cost of the remaining credits needed to complete your degree.

Transfer students who apply for admission and submit or postmark application materials by the scholarship priority deadline of Feb. 15 (Fall semester) or Nov. 15 (Spring semester) will automatically be considered for renewable university scholarships.

Students who have already graduated from high school are not eligible for freshman scholarships but do qualify for other scholarships. Scholarship offers with academic requirements will be reviewed and verified before financial awarding.

Two of the most common scholarships for transfer students are the Chancellor’s Transfer Award and Curators’ Transfer Scholar Award.
