Art of Grantsmanship (AOG)

This 8-week, asynchronous Canvas workshop focuses on all aspects of grants from locating requests for proposals to theories of change to writing engaging proposals. Participants will be invited to submit a four-page, small grant proposal and earn a micro-credential upon completion of the course.

Registration for the Fall 2024 opens in March.  

Research Speakers Series (3Tr@3)

Each month, ORD and the CAFE Research and Creativity pillar host a research presentation by a faculty member or group of faculty members.

Faculty Writing Initiative

Looking for dedicated time and space to write this semester? Join us for these bi-weekly, online writing sessions on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
 
Attending participants will encourage each other to build sustained writing practices to progress their academic and creative goals through work on writing projects of any kind.

Large-scale Interdisciplinary Grant Development Workshop
Held in the fall and spring, this 8 session in-person workshop series is designed to elevate your grant-writing skills and research capabilities. Each term, the program consists of four carefully curated sessions, meeting every other week. 
 
The 2023-24 workshop has begun. Check back later for details on the 2024-25 sessions.

Faculty Research Star Celebration

In recognition of their efforts, ORD honors faculty researchers in this year-end celebration! 
 
Awards are given for the top number of proposals submitted and awarded in units of the Humanitites, Social Sciences, and Education; Social Sciences; and STEM. 
 
Mark you calendar for the 2023-24 Celebration event on Tuesday 21 May 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00pm, with a short program at 2:30.
