Law
Students interested in applying to law school are not required to have a specific major, but must complete their bachelor's degree before applying. There are no required courses or prerequisites needed to apply; however, students may find coursework in areas such as philosophy, logic and ethics to be beneficial when preparing for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT).
After completing their bachelor’s degree, students can expect to spend an additional three years completing law school. Upon successful completion of law school, students must pass the bar examination to be considered for membership in the Bar Association of the state they intend to practice in.
