All undergraduate students are assigned a Success Coach, a graduate student who serves as an entrusted person where students can discuss strategies, tools and resources that will help them be successful in reaching their academic and personal goals.
Success Coaches support students by connecting them with campus resources such as tutoring and counseling, helping refine time management skills, assisting with goal setting, providing guidance with conflict resolution, being a listening ear, etc. When juggling school and life responsibilities seems overwhelming, a Success Coach is here to help!

Students who are notified of being placed on Academic Recovery will be provided additional personalized support through a Retention Specialist.
Rentention Specialists aim to empower students to develop habits that will improve their grades and put them back into Good Standing. Through regular meetings, Retention Specialists work with students to identify their academic obstacles. Students assigned a Retention Specialists can find them in their Connect Network. Retention Specialists are also available during Roo Advising’s drop-in hours.
