Fall 2021Students should arrive in Kansas City by Monday, 16 August to attend the mandatory orientation, settle into housing, meet with academic advisors and register for classes.
Spring 2022Students should arrive in Kansas City by Monday, 17 January to attend the mandatory orientation, settle into housing, meet with academic advisors and register for classes.
All incoming UMKC exchange students are required to schedule a check-in session upon arrival.
Once admitted, you will receive information about the mandatory Welcome Orientation. The UMKC orientation provides students with a valuable introduction to UMKC and Kansas City.
The check-in session and orientation are mandatory. You will not be able to register for classes until you have attended both events.
