- CAFE offers online teaching certification and online teaching recertification for all UMKC faculty, both full-time, part-time and adjunct, who are teaching online courses.

Textbook and Academic Authors
Starting Fall 2025, UMKC is an institutional member of Textbook and Academic Authors Association (TAA). TAA provides a wide variety of writing resources, including guides, grants and webinars, to help UMKC faculty and graduate students move their writing projects forward to publication success.
