The University will be closed on Monday January 19, 2026 for the Dr. Martin Luther King holiday. Payment can still be made online if the school is closed. Students can make payment online in TouchNet. TouchNet authorized users can make payment at the TouchNet Authorized User website at go.umkc.edu/TNAuthUser. Anyone can pay at the Guest Pay site at go.umkc.edu/guestpay

Credit and Debit Card Service Fee

Credit and debit card payments are processed by a third party, which collects a service charge for each transaction and are not refundable.
The service charge for domestic card payments is 3.00% minimum $3.00.
The service charge for international issued card payments is 4.25% minimum $3.00.
The dollar amount of the card fee you will be charged will be disclosed before you submit the payment.
Echeck payments submitted through TouchNet are free.

Additional Info About Payments

Please note that e-check and credit or debit card payments cannot be canceled by the university once they are submitted. Please make sure the amount is correct and you are using the correct account info before submitting the payment.
If the e-check returns for any reason, a $25.00 returned check fee will apply to the student account.
Any credit or debit card transaction that is disputed, stopped or returned for any reason will have a $25.00 returned fee assessed and the card transaction fee will be charged to the student account.

1098-T Tax Information

1098-T forms for the prior year will be ready to view in TouchNet by January 31st.

Contacting the Cashiers Office

You can email or call the Cashiers Office for assistance with any billing related questions at cashiers@umkc.edu or 816 235 1365. We are open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm to assist you by email or phone and we are open for walk in traffic (through UMKC Central) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am to 4:30pm and Wednesday 9am to 4:30pm. You will need to bring your UMKC Student ID card or other form of photo identification when visisting in person for verification and security purposes.

For verification and security purposes please note that when calling the Cashiers Office we ask that you have the 8 digit UMKC student ID number or the student's social security number.

Please include the student ID number in any correspondence to our office.

You can pay online by:

E-Check - a convenient and free way to pay from your checking or savings account online.
Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards - convenient payment options with a service fee applied to each payment.
International Wire Transfer via TransferMate

Other ways to pay:

Mail - send cashiers check or money order to the address on your billing statement.
In person - Cashiers checks and money orders may be left in our secure drop box in the Administrative Center 5115 Oak Street. Please use the envelope provided and put your student ID number on the cashiers check/money order and on the outside of the envelope. Payments will be processed the next business day. DO NOT LEAVE CASH IN THE DROP BOX
